Absolutely love this motel overlooking the river! It's such a cute little town, the people are so nice & friendly.

We had a little campfire, had a beer and put our feet up. Perfect place to rest after a day of motorcycling!!!

The great river road is worth the journey. Each drive and each season brings a different view. From the sail boats and personal boats in the summer to the bald eagles in the winter. The big grain and coal barges chug up the river or wait their turn to go through the locks. From the small hot fish food stands to the lodge at Pere Marquette there are many food options await you on your drive. Many little shops and stores to my favorite weekend flee market at the loading dock. All this and more and close by. See what you can discover as the eagles fly down from the bluffs to the Piasa bird cliff painting.
