We love Brewed Awakenings in Grand Rapids. Either for great coffee drinks, soups, sandwiches, salads and bakery. Gluten free too. Save room for gelato.
Potosi Brewery
The Potosi Brewery not only hosts the National Beer Museum, they also serve up deep fried green beans. And they were AWESOME! Check it out.
Wilson Café
The Wilson Café in Wilson, Arkansas features Southern home cooking gone upscale. Housed in the historic Wilson Tavern building the restaurant has been transformed by owner and chef Joe Cartwright into not only a beautiful facility but a fantastic restaurant that features locally sourced ingredients. The menu changes seasonally so watch the website to see what is featured. No matter what you order, you will be satisfied both by the quality and quantity of your order.

Bayside Tap & Steakhouse is must see and stop along your trek down the Mississippi River! Open year round, and located on Old West Main in Red Wing, MN. Throughout winter they put on a Meat Raffle that supports our Local Legion and the profits from the raffle for the meat go to the armed forces that are supported by our Local Legion. Awesome Martini’s, Food, Steaks and fun to be had when you stop in. Rooftop and outdoor seating to watch the river go by in the summer when it is warmer! Enjoy and make sure to get the seasoned fries with gouda cheese! A must have!

Ice Cream in La Crosse
Dessert (before dinner) is always a must. I was told by many locals the Pearl Ice Cream Parlor was a must stop, and from the line that collected outside the door as we were ordering that definitely said something about the place. It was like stepping back into a time machine and I loved it! Ice cream is one of my love languages and this chocolate chip cookie dough in a home-made waffle cone was simply perfect!
Awesome breakfast in Galena!!!
Otto’s place is a super cute breakfast spot in downtown Galena. Friendly service and great food to boot!
