Danzinger Vineyard

By:Katherine Goodman

Danzinger Vineyard is perched atop the Alma Bluff in Buffalo County and offers award winning wines with a million dollar view overlooking the historic town of Alma, Wisconsin and the Mississippi River. Enjoy their tasting room, enclosed banquet room, outdoor patio or pavilion. Live music offered most Saturdays.

Named Wisconsin Winery of the Year in 2013, Danzinger Vineyard’s “vine to bottle” wines are made from their own grapes grown over 18 acres. They make their own wine on site and their estate-bottled wines have won numerous awards. Grapes used are Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Frontenac Blanc, St Pepin, La Crescent, La Crosse, Brianna, St. Croix and Marquette. Fruit wines are also a favorite!

As a member of the Great River Road Wine Trail, Danzinger Vineyards participates in three wine trail events during the year: Spring Fling-New Wine Release Party in April, June Bloom Wine & Food Event in June and Holiday Harvest Wine & Food Festival in November.
