We went to Keokuk to look for geodes, and were told to talk to Kirk at the Dam Museum. So we did. We weren’t expecting the museum to be interesting, but boy were we wrong! It tells the story of the first dam across the entire Mississippi River. What an accomplishment for the time. They even have a virtual reality movie on it. I’ll be back to see it again! And to have Kirk crack my geode 😁
