Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great River Road with a trip along America’s longest and most important National Scenic Byway. The Great River Road was established in 1938 by act of Congress and today follows the Mississippi River for more than 3,000 miles. The Great River Road runs along both sides of the river and connects travelers with hundreds of interesting river towns, an incredible array of attractions and some truly incredible scenery. This year, celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great River Road with a road trip of your own.
